Posted - Jan 11 2006 : 05:39:06 AM Thank you to each and everyone one of you, she got to come home late yesterday. Doctors told us yesterday morning that it was bad and that it would be a few more days, but she has gotten extremely better, Thank you all for your prayers. She is still not able to go back to school for the rest of the week and has to go back to her pediatrician next week and we have to make a trip to St. Louis, Cardinal Glennon to see her lung specialist. She has asthma and get broncitis at least once a month, never ending battle. This round came on in a days time, but been lot of it going around. I blame this crazy spring like weather in the middle of what is supposed to be winter. We had thunderstorms yesterday, how strange. But keep us in your thoughts b/c we woke up early this morning and my 2 year old, Chloe is sick, ugh. She is alot healthier than kali though, so maybe she can fight through it better. Again thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Posted - Jan 10 2006 : 08:33:54 AM Lots of prayers from Dorr (and elsewhere) for Kali and you. I love that science has statistics showing that prayed-for patients do better, even when they don't know they're being prayed over. They have less pain, they need fewer antibiotics, etc. So you did just the right thing for your sweet baby. God bless. Barb

Posted - Jan 10 2006 : 06:58:19 AM Chasity, My family will pray for y'all. I know this can be stressful for you. Kids are so much more resiliant (sp?) than we are...she'll be fine. It can feel like you're in darkness forever when you're in the middle of a hard time. You will make it through. Please keep us posted.
My daughters can send some get well notes, if you'd like. Just let me know.
Blessings Catherine
