Posted - Jan 29 2006 : 8:47:56 PM I wanted to write and say thank you for all the wonderful support this group of wonderful farmgirls have shown me these past few weeks. Between the group and MJ's book I felt like I had a whole army of ladies behind me. Sometimes patting my shoulder or giving a hug I felt it there.
We had my grandmother's memorial Saturday evening. It was lovely between the tears and laughter. I met several relatives that I only knew in pictures... they were so nice.
I'm trying to get caught up with school...yikes! And there is a rather bad smell in my house...I don't even want to guess what it is. I'm thinking spring cleaning is going to happen right after my science test and my World Lit homework...ok the smell might get so bad that I will need to take care of it first. Why am I the only one who can smell it?
I promise to check back to the Farmgirl Connection daily... it's more and more like a warm blanket thrown around my shoulders.
Hope all have a peaceful night, Cynthia |

Posted - Feb 04 2006 : 05:19:40 AM So glad you're feeling a bit more normal. I've been praying for you. I've wished I could be right there hugging you. How wonderful that you felt those hugs from all of us.
smells....yep, it's usually a potatoe for me, too. Or an apple or orange at the bottom of the basket. Hope you find it!
Blessings Catherine

Posted - Jan 30 2006 : 9:13:23 PM Glad things went well for you with family. It always makes passings easier when the family enjoys each others company. I bought some potatoes a while back that had a rotten one in the bag. It really is the the mose vile smell. DO hope you locate whatever it is.

Posted - Jan 29 2006 : 9:08:27 PM Last time I had an unidentified bad smell it was a yucky rotton potato deep in the bag I keep in the corner in the kitchen..man it was so bad!!! All the others around it were fine but that one stunk the place up. That sort of thing drives me nuts. I am glad you are back home here and I will sure keep you in my prayers!!
Jenny in Utah It's astonishing how short a time it takes for very wonderful things to happen...Frances Burnette http://www.auntjennysworld.blogspot.com/ visit my little online shop at www.auntjenny.etsy.com |
