Posted - Mar 23 2006 : 4:49:00 PM Well, I return from the land of grandma. For the second time, I have held the legs of my daughter as she gave birth. And I have a wonderful new granddaughter - Hannah Elizabeth. My daughter gave birth in a little over three hours with no meds. She rocks. She transcends anything I could have ever done. Her hubby is a great daddy, and we are blessed. When you see a new life literally come into the world and watch as they begin to breathe and live - that is real. REAL. I am humbled. God is great. |

Posted - Apr 19 2006 : 08:49:03 AM Molly Mae does not have a grand baby, She was visiting me! I had my 7th on the 23rd. Her middle name is also Elizabeth! Molly and I are friends and she introduced me to you farmgirls, We are the BeaverDam chapter!
And When Little Dani was born, my oldest DD Darby helped me through labor and delivery. Although Just 11yo she was so excited about this baby she wanted to she her born. She had helped me through preterm labor and lots of back labor ( until baby turned) with massage we figured she deserved to see the birth. She was a great help and she has an even greater respect for life and her mother who gave her that life!

Posted - Mar 24 2006 : 4:19:46 PM Yes, my Dh is a pastor. And get this Grace is the first name of our middle girl, Grace Elizabeth. I always wanted an Abigal but my hubby said it reminded him of a hillbilly girl. "ABIGAAAL!" I told him it does if you say it like that. SO I am glad you have an Abigal! Julia

Posted - Mar 24 2006 : 11:59:04 AM Thank you all so much for the good wishes and sweet thoughts....what a loving group of women are here on this site.
Julia - when you mention your girls also have the names Hannah and Elizabeth....did I read somewhere on the forum that you are a pastor's wife? So is my daughter! Their first girl is named Abigail Grace.
Long ago, I wished I had named my daughter, Julia, a biblical name; later I was reading in the book of Romans (16:15), and Paul mentions a Julia by name. I wonder if he is meaning a man or woman?
Sorry for getting off track for a moment there, ladies. Thank you all again! Mollymae has a new grandbaby too (see the traveling mascot dolls thread)! Congrats Molly!
Love you all!
