Hi ladies,
I have a question- apparently, I'm a bit behind in computer lingo & I'm embarrassed to have to ask, but must find out the meaning of the letters "DH" that I see in posts? I know it is a reference to husbands...just don't know what the reference is...thanks in advance for the favor of a reply.

Welcome to the group Chandra. I always thought DH was for Darling Husband! I guess it is open for interpretation!

I interpreted the D as domesticated, whether in front of H, D or S. Dear didn't even come to mind.

That's cute...I always interpreted "DH" as "Dear Hubby"

Be sure to introduce yourself on the "Welcome Wagon" if you havent done so yet..
Yes- so many "like-minded" gals here...and yes, lots of great information.! Even if you cant review all of the treads...dont worry about "catching up" -You can just start with the current ones.

Thank you for the reply, and the welcome.
I found MJ's book months and months ago...stumbled upon this site yesterday. I am thrilled to have this type of interaction with other "like-minded" women. I've longed for the days of my gran's "knit-club" and "card-club" and this may inspire me to start my own. So many ideas and posts to read. I have to use "portion-control" with the time I spend on the site now.

I had to ask the same question~~DH could be "darling husband" "dear husband" or negatively "darn husband" .
I have seen DD- figuring that is "daughter"
I had a little trouble figuring out MIL-but intrepreted it as mother-in-law..
