Hi ladies, I have a question- apparently, I'm a bit behind in computer lingo & I'm embarrassed to have to ask, but must find out the meaning of the letters "DH" that I see in posts? I know it is a reference to husbands...just don't know what the reference is...thanks in advance for the favor of a reply. Master Gardener |

Posted - May 12 2006 : 4:24:11 PM I interpreted the D as domesticated, whether in front of H, D or S. Dear didn't even come to mind.

Posted - May 12 2006 : 08:40:02 AM Hi Jan, Thank you for the reply, and the welcome. I found MJ's book months and months ago...stumbled upon this site yesterday. I am thrilled to have this type of interaction with other "like-minded" women. I've longed for the days of my gran's "knit-club" and "card-club" and this may inspire me to start my own. So many ideas and posts to read. I have to use "portion-control" with the time I spend on the site now. :) Lovely to chat with you. Take care, Chandra

Posted - May 12 2006 : 07:36:27 AM Hi Chandra~~ I had to ask the same question~~DH could be "darling husband" "dear husband" or negatively "darn husband" . I have seen DD- figuring that is "daughter" I had a little trouble figuring out MIL-but intrepreted it as mother-in-law.. Glad you found us! Welcome!~ Jan |
