I just wanted to announce that my niece was born on june 1st so there is a new farm girl in my family. She is very cute and if every one could say a quick prayer for her or send up good healing thoughts, when she was born she aspirated meconium and her lungs did not inflate all the way and they had to put her in the NICU. she is doing better and they have her back off the ventilater but prayers would be great. Thank you

Valerie

Valerie,

I'm so glad to hear that your sweet niece is home and doing better. My son Jackson experienced the same thing with meconium at birth (emergency C-section) and was in the Special Care Nursery for a few days. We were scared and nervous and didn't know what to expect, but he bounced back quickly and is now a happy 5 monther! Hug and hold that little sweetie a lot now...they sure don't stay that small forever. Jackson is too squirmy now to just let me hold him all day!

Sending warm thoughts your way,

Catherine

Valerie,
What a blessing and relief. I was very scared when I read your first post about her problems during and after birth. We had a neighbor whose daughter did the same thing and her outcome wa not so good. So I am so relieved, as I'm sure you and your family is that she is doing well, at home, and on the road to being a healthy beautiful baby farmgirl. Congratulations and thank God for His healing touch and faithful prayer partners. thanks for keeping us updated.

In His hands,
Lynda L.

Pray in faith and you will not live in doubt.

Thank you all for your prayers and healing thoughts. She is doing better and on her way to being a healthy little girl we hope. The docters are saying that she is getting better fast now. But please keep her in your prayers that she gets to come home soon.

Congratulations to ALL of you, and my best thoughts and prayers for the little one. I had a little one in the NICU right after birth also, for a different reason, but still... I know that can be so challenging - for everyone involved. I'm sending my very best to you all...
