Hubby has decided to start calling our young son little rooster. For those of you that have ever heard a young rooster learning how to crow you will appreciate the humor in that. Junior is talking up a storm and none of it makes any sense, just lots of screeching lately, though you know when he is upset.

This will have to go into his baby book. Another thing to throw at a later girlfriend.

I still call my 19 yo daughter "Sarah Lee Poundcake" and my son, Ben (6) is affectionately known as "Admiral BENbow," "Benjie Bear," and "Bulldog" cuz when he gets his teeth into something...there's no distracting him!!

My son has red hair and freckles so I call him Opie. Dh calls me Ms. Villa, for Bob Villa of This Old House, I guess because I always seem to have some project going. I call him Rosey all the time.
Henry the dog is Doodles, Odie the dog is Peanut, Momo the cat is Mo-mers and Albert the cat is Bertie Bert. I haven't come up with one for Teaka yet. She's only been here a month.

It's so funny how we rename things and people!

I thought we were the only crazy ones! Such cute names.

My son is sweet pea, daughter is Katie Mae (real name is Mary Katherine) and my husband will forever be Handsome.

We get more inventive with the fur babies: Mollie, black lab, is MooMoo Manure. No it has nothing to do with cows. Sammie, yellow lab, is Manicotti. Gracie, chihuahua, is Wada-wada-wat-wa or enchuritto.

And everybody knows they are loved!

My grandson is called "bug". My oldest grandgirl is "Jellybean" and the youngest is "Cupcake." My 34 yo DD is "Doozer." My DH calls me "mabel" and "Matelda." I call him "Mr. Sparky." It's all fun. Joey

Awww...so sweet. Our daughter was dubbed "snugglebug" when she was first born because right away she loved to snuggle up. She will be ten years old soon, and she still loves to snuggle. Most times, we just shorten it to "bug". I love "rooster"...so cute. You should post a pic so we can all see!
