Posted - Oct 08 2006 : 08:12:00 AM Hi Girls,
I know I haven't really posted in a long time, my life has been so crazy for the past month ever since DH found out he would need to transferred for work. But lucky for both of us, the transfer is back to Winnipeg, Manitoba. We're both from Winnipeg, and we're soooo happy to finally be moving back home! We went house hunting a couple of weeks ago, and found the most darling house. It's right in the city, built in 1914, but entirely re-renovated. The kitchen and dining room have pressed tin ceilings, and walnut hardwood floors in the main living room. There's also a nice deck out the back door off the kitchen, and also a *HUGE* backyard with lots of trees. There's no garden, so I get to build my own from scratch - I can't wait! Anyways, I hope to post a little more often than I have been, but as you who have moved across the country before know, it's a busy time. I'll be around!

Posted - Oct 10 2006 : 3:09:46 PM Hi Jayne,
I think I might have to pass on the travelling journal and ornament swap for right now. I'd love to be a part of it, but since we're not firm yet on the actual date of the move, I don't even know what address to be giving out! But thanks for your good wishes - I know I'll need them right now!

Posted - Oct 09 2006 : 07:39:05 AM Hi Alison, Good to hear from you, glad it is all working out. The new house sounds lovely. Sorry to be a pain, but could you just let us know at Far-Flung Farmgirls how you are going - do you still want to be in on the travelling journal and ornament swap? Of course, totally understandable if you are just too busy this time round and you can hop back in when you are less hectic. Thanks, Alison, and all the best with the move. Best wishes, Jayne |
