Posted - Oct 15 2009 : 03:01:13 AM I like etsy, but my store has been bare most of the time, so I haven't had any sales there. The bulk of my sales have been on Hyena Cart in a couple of different congos. I've also been hearing/reading good things about artfire.com, just haven't had time to check it out. I was sewing primarily kid's clothes, but with CPSIA stuff going on I'm trying to change over to teen/ mama/ house items - so much less fun for me (and more fabric too), I love crazy bright kid clothes!

Posted - Oct 14 2009 : 07:43:24 AM thanks so much sara for the post. i like the idea about posting a pic of me and the farm, although i have had a really tough time putting pics on the etsy site. i think we have finally figured out the problem, and dh bought a new program that is supposed to help with that. yes, the radiation can be a little tough, but at least i'm not sleeping all the time. with the chemo i just couldnt get enough sleep, sometimes sleepin 16-20 hours a day .its hard to craft when you are snoring. do you like being on etsy?

Posted - Oct 13 2009 : 7:54:34 PM It looks nice Frannie and I loooove the acorn pincushions they are so darn cute. Maybe adding a picture of you or your favorite place on the farm on your profile page would be cool. Glad I'm not the only one with a sometimes empty etsy store too, lol, mine has been bare since midsummer ;)
and Oh radiation stinks, you rock for getting such nice things done while going through it. I hung pretty close with my ma when she had it for breast cancer, tough stuff. Hope you have some kind hearts and minds helping you through, strength and healing vibes from this way ~
