Is there a reason to worry? How far away should they be from the smoke? Thanks so much?

Well we have bonfires in the backyard all the time (do a lot of cooking over the fire) and our chickens will walk right up to the darn thing and just hang out. So I'm not sure if there is a certain space there should be between the fire/smoke and themselves...but mine apparently don't care!
