Posted - Jul 31 2010 : 08:56:54 AM Hi!
My niece is going to be getting a pet rabbit, but SiL told her she needs to build a home for it first. They're suburban farmgirls and it would be an indoor home. Does anyone have advice, could point us to a website, or anything?
Thanks loads!

I located some how-to's online and forwarded my niece the links. She's excited to get started. Her mom? Not so much, even tho' she had a rabbit when she was a kid. |

Posted - Jul 31 2010 : 5:03:04 PM it is cheaper to buy one than make one, since the bunny will be lose, you don't need a large cage, and you want it metal with a litter tray, they will destroy wood with chewing and urine.

Posted - Jul 31 2010 : 2:49:54 PM I have heard that a small dog crate makes a good indoor rabbit house. How fun! I think having a house bunny would but a good experiment. My daughter's preschool has 3 rabbits and they have an elaborate cage/hutch and don't free roam. I would recommend trying to find some pictures online if that is the route you are trying to go.
