The recent thaw followed by the current low temps has resulted in our chickens installing an ice rink in their run! (well, maybe not so much their doing, but the thought of it did crack me up!) :) There's a pic on my blog.

Poor babies! They are awful pretty though. I would love to have chickens. Maybe this year...

I'll have to check that out. We had the same thing the other week and I watched 3 chickens slip around the driveway. Poor critters, but it was a bit funny, thinking of all the times I've slid around and almost fallen on my butt out there.
