Posted - May 12 2013 : 3:00:51 PM I let mine get a little bigger before I name them, so I can see any character they may have. Unless they are a certain color, or something stands out about the little chick. Kinda like you just did, with Pepper. I have 49 little chicks, today, I moved some to a bigger pen, they are now going on 8 weeks. 12 of them are bantys and they are assorted, so already a coupla stand out to me. They are the ones that I moved today, to a larger pen, now I can see them better, and will get to know them better, and will start to name them as they stand out. Well, have a great time with you little ones, and as they grow. I love my chickens, I have 15 grown, I sell eggs, now I will have more to sell about September. Farmgirl #946 Linda
