I have a hen that will not eat. She has been like this for a week now. I have brought her in & gave her some med. water & food, but she will not eat. I'm not sure if she's drinking either. Haven't seen her. She just sits or stands there doing nothing. Not even a peep from her. Don't know what to do about this. I just know I don't want to lose her.

Its really hard to diagnose a bird problem or any problem for that matter over the net.

Did you take her temp?
Was she wormed in the fall?
Are her eyes goopy, watery or?
Is her beak wet?
Is she gasping for air?
Is her throat passage clear?
How do her droppings look?
What medication are you using? How much? How often?

There is a multitude of things that could be wrong. Much more info is needed.
