Audra Rose	Posted - Dec 20 2025 : 05:30:36 AM Yesterday my daughter called. It was the 7th anniversary of the death of her soul dog Chandler. He was a Frenchie and drowned in a swimming pool. She was traumatized by his death and struggled with grief every year. We have always sympathized with her and urged her to move on, but it didn't work. Out of nowhere, I suggested to her that she turn her sadness to something positive. Choose a canine charity and encourage family and friends to donate on national Chandler Day. The idea cheered her, and she has chosen Spike's K9 Fund. I'm passing this in for everyone who is grieving the death of a pet. Make their memory sweet by making a difference for other dogs.
