Posted - Feb 11 2009 : 3:35:05 PM I'm posting this on the Stitching board too, but I know there are a lot of crocheters and knitters on the Barter board.
Anyone want to join me in a Crochet and Knit Along for charity? I'd love to see how many blocks we could get done! They only need be 7" x 9". . . we could whip out a bunch girls! Here is the website http://www.warmupamerica.org/home.html
If you haven't time to stitch, perhaps you have yarn to contribute?
Sign up on the Stitching post please and we'll tally up once a week!

Cotton yarn is just fine! I've made one block out of cotton yarn already. I tried a new stitch (for me) a popcorn relief, formed a heart in the middle of the block. Please come join us on the post in the Stitching & Crafting room. Can I add you to the list?

Posted - Feb 19 2009 : 4:03:27 PM I'm an avid knitter...but only have all cotton yarn. Does it have to be acrylic? I checked out the site and am very excited to contribute.

Posted - Feb 16 2009 : 08:07:39 AM This is such a great Idea. I am not a knitter or crouchet (er) but the instructions are great from the site and it is a worthwhile cause. I am taking the instructions to our chapter meeting this Thursday night.... We at the farm are so excited about this and think that a project like this is perfect for the times we are in. GREAT Job Theresa.
