Merry Christmas early! Let's do a Christmas yoyo swap like the last Halloween theme one.
We can use the next few weeks to sign up. Sign ups all due by Nov 1st and then mail the yoyos out on Nov 15th....we need to have time to make something out of them before Christmas.

sign ups by Nov 1st

Address list sent then

Send the "puffy envelopes" out (5 yoyos to each address) by Nov 15th

how does this sound? Any suggestions? Will this work for people?
feedback always welcome.

Hi, I have been having blood pressure problems...twice meds increased in the last couple of weeks. When it goes up real high then they have to check for heart problems and also scan for stroke..yuk
Most of the time it's ok..but I have to watch it close and notice how I feel. ...and have to rest.

I've got most of the yoyo envelopes in the mail.

I have a suggestion for "next time" we swap yoyos. Four fit in a business size envelope better and should only cost one stamp. Just a thought....I hope someone wants to host the next one for Valentines day.....hint

All of my envelopes will be in the mail this week...whew...

Hi yoyo sisters, so sorry to be running late...I have been in the hospital a couple times latetly...and now I have to rest alot.

I've had them made for awhile but can't get to the po or out to buy envelopes. I promise to hurry as soon as I can. In the meantime the ones ya'll have sent me are going up all over for decorations. A garland will be great!

I'm getting puffy envelopes also....
did anyone see all the yoyo creations in patterns...it is either McCalls or Simplicity pattern catalog..or both. I wanted ya'll to see the wreath made of yoyos for Christmas. I think the backgroud is some sort of plain green fabric but I think any wreath shape would work. I'm going to make mine plastic canvas basic plain green then mostly green yoyos covering.

Shannan, Got my yoyo's today. That was fast! Thank you so much! They are beautiful! Can't wait to get started on my little craft idea.

Karen were you talking to me Linda or yarnmama. Hope you did get my package though. You need to send me a few pictures of what fabrics you are using in your project. I need to see, if I am going to bless you.

I wanted everyone to know, I have a new free Tea Bag Cozy download at my blog and a Tea Cozy drawing. Would love to have you all come over.

Oooo Linda, I am on my way!! :) I love the sound of the shabby looking fabrics -- that would be great for a variety of projects. My coverlet is retro fabric from the 30s, 40s and 50s. Is your shabby fabric in those eras or would I need to start a different project!! LOL I can't wait to see what your wee little barns look like. I have a wee little barn that was actually a potting shed, but is now home to my two goats -- Ducky and Ivy, and my four chickens--Lucy, Ethel, Reba and Lola.

New hugs for today!

I promise I will do them for you and you can come to my house!!!!! Ya know if every lady shows up that says they are coming, Phil is going to have a lot of ladies here. I have a little barn building that we are fixing up as a refuge cabin. It is a 12 x 24 barn. We used it for storage when we did patterns in paper form. Now it is mine. I can't wait to fix it up. It has two lofts on the top. Cute cute. Barn red with tan accents. Shaped just like a barn. Actually I have two. One is for all my stuff. I will be posting about it some day. They have to get fixed up first. I do have alot of shabby looking fabrics. They are soft colors. Is that what you would like?

Linda -- I will hold you to that!! You may just see me on your doorstep in Sterling, Kansas with a vacant row of my creation just waiting for your contribution!!! :) I'm using pastels. I will now have to check out your blog to find out about this little cozy creation of yours.

Peace and happy yo yos!

You funny lady!!!! That is good to know. I am doing a little tea bag cozy holder, that will be a tutorial on my blog for next week. I am making a tiny little yoyo that will be inbetween two leaves. I was working on making some today. I think yoyo's are fun, but a coverlet? I will help you make some. Tell me the colors. I would make 20 or so. Just let me know.

Blessings!!!!!!!!

Linda, It doesn't matter if your yo yos are all the same fabric or not! We just want them!!! :) This is my first time doing a yo yo swap too. And now I'm diving into a vintage yo yo coverlet! I may have to beg for contributions before this is thru!

A big farmgirl hug to my fellow yo yoers!!
