Hi All,

[edited to include pillow cover] In addition to the 2 books below, I have a vintage white crocheted square pillow cover with light pink roses and accents, with a pale, pale green outside trim to fit a 13" sq. pillow. I can send a pic if you like. It's gorgeous, but it doesn't go with my (unfortunately) more modern decor. One of these days I'm going to have to do a revamp.

I am still decluttering and have a couple of neat books that I would like to trade:

1) Brand new "Household Hints: Save Time, Save Money, Save Energy. Volume 1 of the Best-Selling Household Hints Series." Leader-Post Publications. 144 p. Softcover. 12th printing. This is an awesome book with all kinds of tips for cleaning your home, barbeque, jewelery, suede, etc., etc. to garden pest control...first aid, quick food ideas, and so on." This was a gift, but I already had an older copy.

2) "Health and Happy Days" by Ginn. This is an old, ex-school copy of "Dick and Jane" Style reader from the 60s. While it doesn't have Dick as a character, it does feature Jane, Susan, Muffin (the puppy), Tom, Billy and others. I love the old-style illustrations. The book is worn, but pages and spine are intact. There's wear on the cover edges. Some stamps and writing inside.

Since I've decided to learn how to make my own soap, I'd like to trade for homemade soap bars. I don't know what kind of soap works best for me, so I'd like to try a variety. Shipping is pretty pricey on books so I'd like to get a few bars if possible.

Email if interested.

~Carol

"The Complete Tightwad Gazette" has just been traded and is no longer available. "Household Hints" and "Healthy Happy Days" are still available. I have some assaorted floral cotton fabric fat quarters for trade as well, if you are intereted in a trade for homemade soap.

I have another book to add to my tradelist....
3) "The Complete Tightwad Gazette: Promoting Thrift as a Viable Alternative Lifestyle." Hardcover, 959 pages. By Amy Dacycyzyn. Awesome book!
