Not sure which thread to post this on...but here looks good
Just thinking that because my DH feels so left out with all the fg mail I recieve that I am going to mail him a : )) card ... for no reason at all & post the response.
Anyone else think its a good idea in this age of e-mail !!

Cindy - If you have any older people in your area that would like a card or a note, let me know and I'll be happy to send one. Plus, I'll send one to your dh -- but it'll be from me AND my dh! Anyone else, just email me with a name and address, and I'll do the same for y'all.

Kyria Ya know, he would personally send a note back to each & every one, so they knew how much it meant to him !
Melanie I think we should include anyone that dosn't recieve much mail, we know how it makes us feel  ! I know we have alot of older people in town that have lost their spouses recently and this can be a really lonesome time of the year with no holiday cards or family to look forward too. Plus its cold & dreary out around here. I know my DH takes eggs or a loaf of home made bread to a few people that are fairly close to us, mostly to sit & visit with them and make sure they know they are not forgotton.
I am going to start with him and then who knows !! A secrect spose project is stirring in my head...that would really be fun !!

Are you going to sign the card or just leave him wondering? Could be fun :) I thought of doing something similar for my sister. She came to visit one day after I had gotten the mail. (She works for the USPS, so she loves it when we use them to ship our goodie boxes.) Anyhoo I had barter, a necklace I had bought from one of the farmgirls and I'm thinking there was another lil something in the mail that day. She was kinda sad that she doesn't get anything but bills in her mailbox. Maybe I'll mail her, my mom and my friend a homemade Valentines day card.
