I am in search of a glass jar lid. The kind that fits on an old Atlas canning jar with the wire bale that goes over it, it is kind of domed. I would be willing to barter for one or buy it if anyone has one. I already have the jar but need the glass lid.

Thanks.

Lorie, Yes, I have your lid!! Email me your address so I can get it into the mail . . . as soon as the postoffice is open. Our state has 400,000 homes and businesses without power due to the huge storm. At least I can have your package ready to go!

The tall one is the kind of lid I think I need if anyone has one. And the short guy is the jar. Sorry for bargering in here like a bear, I think I am too tired to be posting. Just ignore me.

I was just going to take the picture and looked through my jars and I don't need a top like that after all but one to fit a short Kerr -economy with a wide mouth and not the glass with the bale. I think it had a metal lid with a metal clamp that snapped down on both sides. I will head to photo bucket and then post here.

I will take a picture of one of mine and send it or post it. I am also looking for one, or two. If you have an extra, I could send you a new crocheted dish cloth for it.
