Posted - Jun 29 2011 : 1:17:20 PM Have a couple things up for barter,
First, a 1972 book titled "How to Show Your Horse and Win" from the Farnam horse library. Pretty timeless information about showmanship that is a must have for 4-H'ers. Cover is a little loose, and front and back pages have some old water spotting but the text portion of the book is in perfectly readable shape.

Second, I have a large skein of cranberry (red?) Raffia that I don't need.
As for things I do need... I could really use any canning supplies (I'm starting this year with nothing other than jar lifters) and I'd love some heirloom tomato/veggie/melon seeds but I'm open to offers.
I have tons of cookbooks, so I hope to start sneaking those out on the barter list too very soon (My mother is a certified cookbook HOARDER)

"After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.” ~Will Rogers |
