The sets from 2007 and 2008 are a lot like 1999 and 2000 when I started. The change is that they added the CORE plan, but you can still follow points with flex.

Deborah-The 2010 set is still the points like you are used to. They made the horrible change in 2011. My sets from 2007 and 2008 are the ones I really like. I got back to Lifetime with the 2008 set. Why don't you let me send you one of these with no obligation. I need to get rid of them anyway. If you like them and feel like it you could send me something, but if it still does not work dont worry about it.

its ok if peggy wants it
i really want the older
point system if you know which one i mean
it was the one with all the foods listed
and the points for each..but i think the points
were more realistic than the newer book.
i had alot of sucess with it..
and 2010 is the new point system
which did not work for me
if you do have the older one
points book with all the foods
does not have to have dining out
as much unless its all together
and if you like surprise packages
thats fine works well.
but if peggy really wants it
like i said thats fine
she is such a sweetheart
i can wait

Well, i may as well post this one too. I have a 2010 Deluxe member kit. this has no member materials or slide thingy-just complete food companion and dining out guide and a dvd with some exercise and eating tips and some extras-it comes in a pretty nice box/carry case thing.
AND by the way-i have not tried the NEW program, and from here and some local friends, I dont plan on it-today I pulled out my materials from 2000 when I first made lifetime and started that up again. It worked once, should work again. I also want to add that the 2008 edition of the complete food companion is one of the best ones they made-in my opinion.
I think I am through now, unless my cleaning unearths more WW stuff!

I also have most of an at home kit, with dining out guide and complete food companion from 2003/4 and a week 1 book and complete food compaion and diniong out guide from 2007. These dont come with the slidey thing but I could trhow in one from 2008.

Okay Peggy and Deborah here is what I have. One complete set from 2007. Complete with Complete food companion, dining out guide, the slide rule thingy with points finder on one side and points booster(activity points) on the other, and all of the weekly handouts and one tracker. This was the year they came out with the turnaround program, and I was successfull at getting BACK to lifetime with this program.
I also have a complete set from 2008 with the same things and some extra inspirational stuff.
I do have some extra slide rule thingys with both points and activity finders on them from 2008.

Sylvia...that would be fantastic! I think the year was around 2002 or 2003. The points system you had to figure out by a slider
chart if I remember correctly. But I would also like the books that went with it...if you have them. Will be happy to do a swap
with you.

hey girlsw, I have lots and lots of the old point system books. I used to be a leader and got a new set of stuff when they "tweak" the program every December. Let me look through my stuff later-I am not at my house right now-and will let you know what I have. Do any of you know a particular year you want-or what the kit looks like? the color of the bag or whatever?
