Luckily I am a shuttle tatter, so we should be all good :) Let me comb my shelves and see what I have, I know of at least two off the top of my head. Why not go out on a limb? edlund33	Posted - Jan 22 2012 : 09:01:45 AM Check amazon, ebay or goodwill. Even the local library. I've seen some really great deals on used craft books in these venues. Sometimes you can find the old tatted trims/edgings pamphlets from the 30's and 40's for about a dollar. Karriean is right...there are lots of free tatting patterns online. I need to find actual books.......it is for a lady in late 60's" who finds that books are" company " to her . It is more for a book that she can look at over and over than a particular pattern. Though she isnt into doilies much . She does shuttle tat I know.... I thought i would see here first if anyone had any........if not I will buy her some on Amazon . Blessed in Colorado	Posted - Jan 22 2012 : 07:54:38 AM Lisa, I taught myself to Tat from Mary Jane's Book "Mary Janes Stitching Room" Book? On Page 99 are very easy instructions on how to Tat. If you do not have the book let me know and I will copy the pages and send them too you. I bought Tatting books to teach myself but never over the years could I figure it out, Mary Jane's instructions were so easy and I picked it up right away. Now this is Needle Tatting not Shuttle Tatting, Needle Tatting is the same but so much easier. Let me know if you want me to make copies for you.
