Hi Ladies Im on the look for old photos.. I would like to make greeting cards from the images. So if you have a bunch of old photos that would look cute on a greeting card let me know.. i make handknit socks, dishcloths, have tons of rubber stamps and stamp and scrap magazines, books maybe we can make a trade thanks cheryl

That is great. Go the web site collage sheet girl and pick some images.
I'll send them out to you. You save them on your computer and print as needed
I ll alway be available for technical help. You ll have a digital library before you know it.

Mother with dementia won't look at the old photos with me,
so not able to sort and purge. Really sad. I'm sorry not to follow through.

Chery, Fairfield antiques in Fairfield Maine have some cabinet cards, men and women not bad priced some for $1.00 and up, I have picked some up there before. |

Cheryl, also, please know that it will ongoing over a period of time.
My mom is a hoarder, so we will talk about each photo to see if she remembers the people and do a small number each day so that we will get a box sent to you each month.
So please respond if you want them and that works for you.
Sadly, Farmgirls, label those photos: your kids may not
know the people and how they are related as family.

When you are saying old photos, are you meaning tintype or photos from the 1800's or black and white from pre-60's?
My mother has lost her eyesight and has dementia. A lot of history is about to be lost. I have boxes up to my shoulders of pictures all with no names. Also, Do you want old color photos? As we go through them, I will be only keeping what we can identify.

Hi Cheryl, I hit the antique shops and pick up cabinet cards, also dover books have some great books with prints they are on line or at the craft store. Some if you go on line to vintage pictures you can fine some you can print. Have fun, I enjoy the old pictures and prints. |
