Mornin' Ladies,
I am very excited to be a new member to Mary Jane's Forums... My name is Tammy and my family and I live off grid in the Northern Idaho Wilderness. We live very traditionally and I LOVE IT!! We lived in an 8' x 14' canvas wall tent for 8 1/2 months while we built our home on property that we purchased site unseen from Pennsylvania. It was an experience of a lifetime and our lifestyle is a dream come true. I have always enjoyed thrifting and antiquing with my girlfriends and treasure the finds from over the years that are hanging on my walls or decorating my house. The other beauty is that they are readily available when I need them most. We use all traditional tools daily - whether it be in the kitchen or in the shop..

I am currently looking for a treadle sewing machine that I can use to sew leather as well as regular fabrics. My sewing is typically a winter project and with less sun available I am trying to make sure I can sew no matter what.

I look very forward to getting to meet all you lovely and talented ladies. Have a wonderful day and God Bless!

Tam

I was in Coeur d'Alene last week. What town are you near? I like to drive thru all the little towns between home and CDA.
