Posted - Jul 12 2012 : 06:48:18 AM Hello Ladies,
I have recently started a non-profit coffeehouse in Baltimore City. While we offer fabulous coffee and a variety of yummy food items, the heart of our coffeehouse is giving back and reaching out to the at-risk/inner city community where we are located. Book clubs and art classes for children and adults are part of our community outreach program. We want to be able to offer these programs at no charge so we rely heavily on donated books and craft/art supplies. If you have any books (especially children's or easy read adult) or craft/art supplies laying around, please consider donating them to our program.
In the spirit of bartering... we don't have much, but we can offer: - Free coffee and pastries on your next visit to Baltimore - A tax write off - That warm fuzzy feeling you get for knowing you just did something truly wonderful
Drop me a line if interested and I will let you know where to send, or arrange a pick up. Thanks !!

Posted - Jul 28 2012 : 10:07:52 PM Sure! We are actually hosting the president of the quilter's guild in October to do a demo and teach a class on making squares (sorry if that's not the right terminology, I am not a quilter myself.)I am sure we will have some class participants that will want to learn more!
Thanks, Holly

Posted - Jul 16 2012 : 7:02:13 PM Thank you for your response! Honestly, we could use just about anything;we can design our classes around the supplies we receive. There has been some interest recently in quilt making, scrap booking, and jewelry design.
As for books, easy read or children's books would be most helpful.
Please feel free to contact me at CUPs.HollyGray@gmail.com
Again, THANK YOU!!
