Hello Farmgirls, it is me again:-) It has been a very long time since I have done a Give Away on my Blog. So in honor of all FarmGirls of the Month past and future I am going to do a Fall Give Away. So, here is my question, if you had to pick FGOTM what would you look for. The treasure I give away will be a surprise, but I will tell you it will come from the farm"-) I will chose the name on Oct. 15th. So, stop by my blog and post or check my other thread on Farmgirl Barter to post there as well. Thanks everyone and lets have fun.

Posted - Oct 15 2012 : 5:47:26 PM Congratulations Ms. Peggy (Lady in Red) you won my Special Farmgirl of the month giveaway. Ms. Peggy wrote:
*************I had the pleasure of being able to pick a farm girl of the month at the beginning of the year. And what I looked for was someone, who was an uplifter of others, who was kind and sweet...and someone who made me (and others) laugh. In this day and age humor is a priceless gift. I also wanted to chose someone who exemplified the Spirit of a True Farmgirl. It is a Special Honor to be chosen FGOTM...so enjoy your Month Debbie...and know that someone felt you Exemplified All The Best Qualities and Characteristics of A TRUE BLUE FARMGIRL!*******************
BLESSINGS AND HUGS, Peggy
I have emailed you Ms. Peggy for your address.
Thank you all farmgirls for posting and following on my blog and joining in on my Give Away. Ms. Peggy will let you know her gifts when they arrive to her.
Hugs, Debbie

Posted - Oct 15 2012 : 12:58:27 PM Just went over and posted on your Blog, Deb. At first when I saw this post I thought you had to "be" farmgirl of the month to enter? I was a bit confused, but thought I would enter anyway, since I love thinking about what a true farmgirl means to me. Thanks for the opportunity! Hugs,

Posted - Sep 13 2012 : 4:48:01 PM I would have to say someone who represents all the wonderful things that create the 'farm girl' attitude/heart/mind. Each of us as woman have certain qualities that we hope to see or connect with in others. Also a 'Farm girl' has a heart that is different, we see things from a earth aspect...caring for others as if all our family, finding humor in daily events that may make others cringe or throw in the towel, finding someone who has the compassion, openness & willingness to understand others without judgement. Like said by Nancy they can be city 'farm girls', be full business women in suits but still have the 'farm girl' element we all see or feel. Its funny but I would be hard pressed to actually pick one Hen from MJ since I see that quality in all, each has a special'something; that makes me want to know them & be a small part of their life.......Michele'

Posted - Sep 13 2012 : 10:07:07 AM i was the June 2012 FGOTM and when I picked FieldsofThyme as the July FGOTM I chose very carefully. I chose her because she represented the kindness, caring and interest of a MJF. I think it is not important that the FGOTM be living on a farm. I find that generosity and compassion for others is important. Someone who gives of themselves to encourage and help us. I don't know if this will help you. This is the basis on which I chose.
Hugs,
