Posted - Sep 30 2012 : 12:41:33 PM I just started to learn to knit so I bought the needle gauge at the store where I take lessons. It cost like $3.00 As for needles check out any Goodwill stores or 2nd hand shops. I just scored some size 11's for 50 cents and the Goodwill had bags of yarn for $2.50 per bag.
