Hello Sweet Farm girls!
So I have developed an interest in vintage handkerchiefs, since I saw window treatments(valences) made with them. They would look gorgeous in the windows of my(rented) farmhouse. I've collected a few of the pretty floral color printed, scalloped edged handkercheifs, but I'm on a tight budget and can't wish spend a lot of money on decorating. So my goal is to trade for things I desire. I need about 7 of them.
So here is what I can offer:
*Crocheted dishclothes
*Crocheted hats
*Embroidered dish towel
*Chicken scratch gingham aprons
*maybe even some baked items
I am fairly new at the hand crafting but have discovered that I am really enjoying them.
Please let me know what you think

It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about and then I saw the Darkened.Well that is a different one. Ha ha. How about an embroidered dish towel?
I bet it looks really pretty at your window. Delicate looking.

Hi Kim I have 3 handkerchiefs I just got at a thrift store.
One is cream scalloped with gold embroidered flowers 10 inch , one is pink with blue tulips in the deeper scallops 12 inch, and a white one with blue and white flowers 10inch.
Are you interested in them.

I can't get my phone to upload my embroidery. So if you Google chicken scratch embroidery it will show some images. If you prefer I can make it without it . Thank you.

GREAT! The hankies I 1 is a baby blue and the other is a a carnation wpink. The kitchen is a creamy lemon yellow. I'm open to multiple colors, but I do prefer the scalloped edge. What color of gingham would you like? And do you have a particular chicken scratch design in mind?
