Posted - Feb 15 2013 : 7:58:15 PM Hi there, I've just started learning Tunisian (Afghan) crochet, and would like to find hooks that are longer. If anyone has size 5.0 mm or 6.0 mm of the longer (14") hooks, I'd love to barter with you. Thanks,

Posted - Feb 15 2013 : 8:43:11 PM Darlene, The Tunisian Crochet is really pretty. It's kind of like a knitting and crochet hybrid. It has a similar look to knitting with the ease of crochet. The hooks are a bit longer than a standard crochet hook, and have a stopper on the end like a kitting needle. They make GREAT dish clothes.
Loralie, That's great! Are they long? I've got a project I wanted to try, but my standard hooks are too short. If so, would you be interested in a barter or sale?
Thanks, Lisa |
