Posted - Jul 08 2007 : 7:51:21 PM It has been way to long since I have been in the "loop" of the farm girls. I got so busy with working 3 part time jobs to make ends meet, that I didn't make the time to check on all the farm gals. None of my views or ideas have changed, they just seem to be put on hold. My husband & I have our own business, but boy have we struggled the last few years. I don't want to ramble on about all of my problems, I just want to say hello again and let everyone know how thankful I am to be back. Hopefully for good this time. Aunt Jenny if you are out there, I think of you often and appreciate how you always take the time to respond to the "new girls in town". I miss all the good advice and just down home humor I get from visiting the web site late at night when everyone else is in bed. I hope to get back in the groove with everyone and find out what is going on again. I have missed ya'll.
Excited to be back From Missouri, Holly |

Posted - Jul 24 2007 : 11:39:30 AM Hi, Holly! Glad you are back. I'm REALLY new to this site, and so far, I love it, and can see why you missed it! My husband and I also own our own business, as well as having our farm -- and because of that, I work outside the home too, at 3 part-time jobs. I know how you're feeling! But, because we are farmgirls, we will persevere! Look forward to seeing you on the site.

Posted - Jul 23 2007 : 8:53:22 PM Thank you for all the warm welcomes. I am still in an ajustment period. I finally made the decision to give up on my garden for the year. It may sound silly, but I was constantly thinking about it, how I wasn't tending to it like I should. I was spoiled last year working out of my home I more time to take care of it. Now when I am home I am lucky to get my husband and 4 kids taken care of. I keep telling myself that working this much is temporary and as soon as we are debt free, I will home again! We are trying to work Dave Ramsey's plan and it is going well but it is hard work. But who has ever known a farmgirl that wasn't afraid of a little hard work!

Posted - Jul 13 2007 : 9:09:19 PM Thank you to everyone who has responded to my new log. I can't even tell you how glad I am to here from all of you wonderful, hard-working women. I can only imagine, if your life is anything like mine, that you are so busy. This is the most peaceful, relaxing thing that I can do, is to get on this website and see what everyone has to say. I know that everyone has to be as busy as me, maybe they are a little more organized, but they still are busy. So anything that I can catch up on is wonderful.

Posted - Jul 10 2007 : 8:44:42 PM Thank you to everyone who responded. I love it here, there are so many wonderful women. I feel so at home with everyone. It has been a tough year and this is my escape. I could be sleeping but instead I am on this website checking out anything I may have missed. I have no business being on the computer this late at night but I can't help but think it is okay in this situation. Aunt Jenny, I am so glad you are there, you are such a wonderful inspiration and are a positive influence to this website.
Thanks again, Holly |
