Posted - Aug 23 2007 : 3:23:01 PM Glad I read about the name change policy. I had made up my mind to change mine to Baywatcher. I live on a bay at the coast and see it from my den window and always watching the boats, birds, people collecting oysters, etc. It's beautiful. I'll keep mommatracy, only name I could think of quickly at the time) My husband tells our dog"here comes mommatracy!" and he gets so excited! Also would hate to lose all of my posts. By the way I just love the June Clever name. She was my idol growing up. |

Posted - Jul 23 2007 : 11:09:50 AM Hi girls. Just fyi, the database doesn't allow you (or us either) to change a user name, so there isn't any way to "bring your posts along with you" if you choose a new user name. We don't encourage people to sign up under new and different names because we think that's confusing to the forum users. Remember that not all users see all posts, so they could easily miss the post where you've told folks that you changed your user name and then they wouldn't know that it's the same you with a different name! Thanks girls! Carol

Posted - Jul 23 2007 : 03:49:52 AM Hey Susan,
Don't feel bad...I joined sometime in 2005 when my life was one big load of chaos...LOL anyway, wound up moving again and all kinds of stuff going on...A few months ago when I wanted to post on the group I couldn't remember my password...long story short...I just reregistered with my new screen name...
..Everyone knows who you are or will! Too bad you couldn't take yur archived posts with you. It makes since to keep everything the same for simplicity...That's what I do or else I'd be going in circles between my website, blog and groups..LOL
I love your name by the way! Very nice
...til next time ~ queenofdreamsz

Posted - Jul 22 2007 : 3:33:14 PM I totally understand wanting to change everything to the same. I do other wise I would never remember who I am supposed to sign in where. Everything has the same password for me to.
But I like it, and think it is really cute. In no time you will have your blue stars back.

Posted - Jul 22 2007 : 11:21:01 AM The farm doesn't usually like people changing their screen names as it gets confusing so they would have told you probably to stay with your old name.
have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe my bloghttp://sunshinescreations.vintagethreads.com/ my web store http://vintagethreads.com/ |

Posted - Jul 22 2007 : 11:06:37 AM If you will notice I lost all my hundreds of posts...just reregistered...probably should have asked someone at the farm to help me. But hindsight. Sure would like the title True Blue Farmgirl back but guess i will just have to get posting!!!
