Posted - Jul 22 2007 : 4:21:37 PM Hi all! My name is Karen and I'm in central PA. My husband and I have five children and we stay very busy with them. I homeschool/unschool two of the children, but when I have free time I love to sew. I also enjoy gardening, embroidery, and cooking. My mother grew up on a farm, so I'm the first generation that doesn't live on a farm. It's still in my blood, though! Thanks for having me here. |

Posted - Jul 23 2007 : 5:24:29 PM HI Karen, and welcome. I hope you feel at home here as much as I have. This is a great group. I was raised on a farm, got married lived off the farm (hated it) got divorced and now live my very best friend and soul mate,, you guessed it back on a farm (love it). I have two children boy 16, girl 9, I am so glad that they are getting to grow up out in the open, with the animals for friends. (although my son, I don't see staying on a farm, my daughter wants to be a vet, she loves the animals as much as I do) Any way. welcome
