Hello everyone! New here to the board...but I have been reading MaryJanes magazines for a few years now....I am a military wife whose hubby is deployed to Iraq for one year. We relocated back to PA, both from here and I have a 4 bedroom farm house built in the 1900's that we reside in. We moved back home so the kids and I could be near family and for the kids to truly experience living in the country...so far so good My oldest daughter is 16, son 14, and my littlest buddy is 8 girl. Looking forward to getting to know alot of folks on the board.

Warmly,
AFMom

Thanks again everyone for all the sweet and kind welcomes....boy I wish you all were my neighbors:) What fun we would have and so much to talk about...:)

Bev (aka Bee Haven Maven)...I am an hour north of Harrisburg in a small community called Dornsife. If you take 147N you would drive somewhat near where I am living, but if you get to Sunbury, you are too far away. My closest little town is Gratz...and the annual Great Gratz Fair is coming up in Sept...YEAH!!

Warmly, Erica:)

Welcome Erica!

I come from a military family. I feel for you. If you want to start a card tree for him let us know. You wouldn't believe how fast the girls rally. For us, sending a card of thanks to him and his platoon, would be a simple thing. My brother was there. Our town went. Some of them are still there. Send chapstick, ha. My brother said his lips were always dry.
