Wow....it's been a year since I last posted. I'm looking for a local chapter in Eastern Washington to join! If you know of one, please let me know.

Welcome back, Heather! What an inspiring person your mama sounds like - and congratulations on the 3-Day - that's a real challenge. I know your mom is so proud of you, too. I'm happy you're back around the farm - and you have a wonderful Thursday, too!

You're right, it was absolutely where it needed to be! She had battled BC on 3 different occasions and knowing that was the last time....every minute was precious! She fought like a trooper until the last breath! On the bright side...she's not hurting anymore and she's back to being beautiful...with perfect hair and nails! She's my inspiration everyday to tell women about her, raise awareness about breast cancer and raise money for Komen! I just got back on Monday from walking the Breast Cancer 3-Day in her honor! It's a life altering experience everytime I walk it...this is my 3rd year! My hips are killing me and my feet are sore...but I can't wait to sign up and do it again next year!! :o)
I hope you had a wonderful Wednesday!! The weeks halfway over!

Hi Amanda,
I can't wait to meet all of you as well! I was hoping to join a group last year at this time, but my Mom got very sick with Breast Cancer again...so my attention was on her. But I'm here now...and ready to meet some farmgirls like me!
Thanks again for such a wonderful reception! You girls rock! :)
