Hi my name is Jo. I'm 41 with a 9 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. We sold the farm due to my husbands health and moved to town and I miss it terribly. I still garden and can, quilt, sew, and knit as time allows. We homeschool both kids and I also go to college in my 'spare' time.

I've been hanging around the boards for a week or so just reading and seeing what the community is like. I must say everyone seems very friendly and I look forward to being a part of the community.

It's nice to know someone else in my age group going back to school. My major is in Biology and thinking of ag economics or horticulture for my minor. I would love to keep in touch with you to see what your experiences have been like.

Hi, Jo! Welcome from one of the Louisiana farmgirls. You're right. There are a lot of nice people here. And always remember, just because you live in the city doesn't mean you can't still be a farmgirl!!!!!

Welcome, Aunt Jo! I saw another posting where you have 24 neices and nephews? Whew! I am Aunt Jo to 18 and I thought that was a lot! How many siblings and Siblings-In-Law do you have? More importantly, have you started your christmas shopping yet???
