Posted - Oct 13 2007 : 11:05:56 AM hello out there! i was so excited to find out about this site. found MJ's book after moving up here and fell in love with it. i'm from palm beach, florida and when i told my friends i was moving away from "Donald Trump Land" and "life in the fast lane" and moving to SC to find peace of mind, space and a more down-to-earth environment, they couldn't believe it. well....i am so happy here!! i love our home and the peace-and-quiet in our woods, our two black & white kitties: sammy and olivia, and no traffic!! (i never realized just how "displaced" i felt down there and almost wonder if God had me living down there in palm beach by accident?!!) anyway, i'm looking forward to "meeting" many of you and gathering various info on bakeovers, etc. have a great day to all of you!! |

Posted - Oct 16 2007 : 07:24:04 AM Sue, I found this site by doing an engine search on some topic or other. I can't remember what it was now, but when I found this site I spent nearly half a day looking through everything. Hehe, I probably forgot what it was in the first place because I became so interested in this site. I was really impressed with all the helpful information here and how everyone was so nice in the forums. Although I've lived in a rural area for most of my life there's so many things to learn about growing things and just life in general.
I think South Carolina is so pretty, I've been down that way several times, but not in a few years. I don't have too many 'farmgirl' talents either, but I sure enjoy trying things and admiring those who do have skills and talent. It's nice getting to know you! |
