Frannie, thanks for the welcome! I enjoy reading your posts. I've been reading and looking at the photos of the visits, I bet you all had a wonderful time! I'd enjoy meeting up with you and the other ladies someday.

Waco is in Madison County about 30 miles southeast of Lexington, between Richmond and Irvine. We are a very small community full of small farms, mostly cattle. We do have a few little grocery stores and a bank here.

My husband and I have been married for 8 years and he's originally from Sweden. His parents were in for September and they really enjoy it out here. So different from where they are from, Stockholm.

We live on a couple of acres with a barn and pond. We have a small orchard and raise a small garden, usually just a couple of rows or so. Even though I've lived out in the country most of my life I never really gardened before. When I was younger I helped my mom and grandmother some but I wished I'd paid more attention. So this is pretty new to my husband and I and we are learning together as we go.
