Hello Ladies!

I've been reading posts for quite a while now, and finally got around to registering and attempting to post! (Actually, I may have done that a while back, but am not sure!)

We live on a "farmette" in slower Delaware, and have two goats left over from 4-h projects and a whole bunch of chickens. Hubby is a carpenter, I'm an artist, and youngest daughter is a historical interpreter & accomplished seamstress. Oldest daughter & her hubby just made me a grandma about 5 weeks ago! I love american folk art, folk music, history, and homesteading/homemaking, and am always attempting to learn more about any of those things. Looking forward to visiting here often!

Kim :-)

Kim, I gave your "Love bears all things" picture to a buddy for her birthday, and she loves it. (Your daughter was in labor the day I bought it. I'm so glad you have a grandbaby to love!) Your work is so fine. I hope you do start a farmgirl chapter at the store! That would be fun. And, I had to smile at your comment about your mom and the computer. I think I knew what you'd say.

We must be neighbors. Not that far from Delaware here in Jersey.
Glad you decided to join in.

Hi all, and thanks for the welcome!

Ann! It's a very small world!
:-)

We've thought about doing a Farmgirl chapter at the store! Maybe after the holidays!
That's probably as close as I'll get Mom to the computer!
:-D

Good to meet you all!

Kim :-)

Kim Frey, YES! I know you from Hudson's. Kim, you are the quintessential farmgirl and I'm thrilled you're here! Ask your mother to join us, too.
Love,
Ann Ward :)

Welcome Kim! Glad you took time out to introduce yourself. I know you'll just love it here. I was in Delaware several years ago. I thought it was one of the most beautiful places I had ever been too!
