Hello Ellen, we're practically neighbors! Looking forward to chatting and sharing ideas, thoughts, etc. with ya. I may have missed this question earlier...what kind of fruit do you grow?

Hi! Waving out to Clare,Jenny in Kansas, Lonestargal and JP the tallahassee lassie! Are you close, jpbluesky, to Sopchoppy? How did you fare with the last hurricane? did you have flooding?
I did read the tips, Clare. Thanks. And I've gotten lost reading lots of other threads. What a swell group of gals! I have another question: If an old farmgal topic makes my nose itch to hitch up my answer (I don't want to break etiquette rules)do I start a new thread or do you want me to resurrect the old?Ellen

Hey, Florida gal! I am the other Florida poster here who loves this place.

I love your screen name-Byhzgrace. Thank God for His grace! Even those who seek spirituality in different ways know instinctively that we all need the grace of God in our lives.

Hi Lucinda, Aunt Jenny, Molly, Lori, Nicol!
Thanks for sliding over and making room for me on the wagon!
RE:PEG
My Mom was a Home Ec teacher and gave me her I Hate to Cookbooks when I moved out of the house! 1960 edition now completely yellowed from age and oil from splattering use! A buddy told me she had written one on getting old so I was trying to find it. I needed her humor since a girl in her 20's on Monday told my boss I was having a mid life crisis! Can you post her fanmailaddress?
What does the smoke or is it fire on a folder mean?

Hi Elle!

Welcome to the forum. You sound like our kinda girl.

I'm a huge fan of Peg Bracken. Guess what, I found HER a couple of weeks ago. Sent her a fan letter.

Hope to hear more about you!

Lucinda
