Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 3:42:34 PM Hi,
I am really enjoying the MJF site and her book. I'm a former farmgirl who would love to move back to the country in my native Minnesota (my husband's job brought us to California, but he lives for the day we can move back - we need to figure out the "how are you going to make a living" part first). In the meantime, I am trying to learn various stitching techniques (cross, embroidery, crochet, etc.) when I get a free moment (i.e. nap/school time).
I'm also trying to cut back on the chemicals we use to clean the house and want to improve our eating habits and, and, and the list goes on. Needless to say, MJF has been a great source of inspiration.
When I get a bit more time, I will post to the chat about beverages (if I can find it again) about my "tea" habit!

Posted - Oct 16 2005 : 7:12:24 PM Welcome Collette! I am sure glad you are here..you sound sweet. I love Minnesota..lived there years ago...my first husband's family was from there. My second son was born there and for a couple years when I was young I helped run a very rustic fishing resort on a lake...I hated to leave there!
