Hello from Fairfield, Washington, home of the FarmChicks Antique Sale! I'm a rookie and I'm really excited about being a part of the Farmgirl Connection.
Fairfield is a small wheat-farming community in SE Washington. I share a home on 5 acres with my husband, my three dogs, and a fat Siamese cat. I work in the city (Spokane, 22 miles north) as a Marketing Communications Supervisor. Although I love what I do, there's nothing better than getting home at the end of the day and spending time in my little piece of paradise. I'm a quilter and I enjoy cooking. I was born and raised in Montana, but have been in this area for 24 years.
I completed a fun "get to know you" questionaire and am posting it in "Across the Fence, Getting to Know You Better". What fun!!

Thanks for all the nice welcome notes! It's so nice to hear from each of you!

KarenP - I'll think of a good, easy recipe to share!

Clare - I'll bet I did see you at the Farm Chicks sale, just didn't know it! Next spring we'll have to introduce ourselves! I only live four blocks from town. You can see the big tent in the park from my driveway! Our little town pops at the seams on those weekends - it's great!

Julia - I joined the charm square exchange last week and can't wait to start exchanging. I've been quilting for 20 years and have quite a stash to pull fabrics from. I'm anxious to get my first packet so I can see what others are doing and I'll get started cutting. I ejnoy block-a-month projects, hand applique, and Moda fabrics. What types of projects do you like?

Sally - I was born and grew up in Missoula. I have lived in Spokane since 1981. I still have family in Missoula, so we drive over a few times a year. My mom lives at a small lake (Lake Mary Ronan) 100 miles north of Missoula. I haven't been to Bozeman for many years. How long have you lived there?
