Teemie here, married to a dairy farmer 29 years, 4 young adult children, all home, herb & flower farmer with a sun pit greenhouse and farm studio/shop. I teach old fashion embroidery, love nature & beauty,creating pretty things.
I've been blogging for a while now,sharing about our farm and my sun pit greenhouse
MaryJane is a huge inspiration to me!! The first issue of MJfarm mag is one of the reasons I am farming today! Looking forward to getting to know everyone here. Not sure how much time I'll have to visit but I wanted to connect up with more farmgirls. |

I've been planting in my sun pit. it's still kinda chilly so I begin with the cold-loving crops sweet peas lettuce panies etc.. We've been redoing our old farmhouse kitchen too. I'll be bloggin more on this over the next few weeks. This is a great place! so glad I'm back. Now to really get to know folks around here....

Posted - Dec 17 2008 : 08:22:47 AM Thanks for the warm welcome! Our farm is 100 head milking with calves and steers for beef as extras. We cropfarm too corn, wheat, soybeans & grow our own hay.
I'm an herb & flower farmer myself, 2009 will be my 3rd year with weddings...
