I'm new in Oregon too and haven't heard back from any local chapters. That's okay for now. This is a nice friendly place!

Posted - Jan 29 2009 : 1:01:00 PM Hi Heather, from your neighbor in Northern Idaho. Don't feel bad about no chapter near you, there isn't one near me either. If you visit here often enough, you won't miss not having a local chapter too much.

Posted - Jan 29 2009 : 06:43:58 AM Welcome Heather! Yes, another Oregon girl here. We have quite a few girls from Oregon, but we are all spread out. As far as local chapters go, the website says we have a few but I could never get an answer from any of them. So as far as I know there are no local chapters. A few of us do try and meet twice a year and have lunch. Last time we met was in October at the Portland Farmers Market. Anne usually coordinates that and I am sure she will pop in and give you a welcome. Glad to have you here.

Life should NOT be a jounrey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. "WOOHOO, what a ride!"

Posted - Jan 28 2009 : 7:01:35 PM Welcome, Heather. I am way across the country in Ga. So no help here. But there are alot of Or. farmgirls here. You'll hear from them soon, I'm sure.
That is lots of kids. I guess you're a busy lady with 4 teenagers. Enjoy the forum and just jump on in.
