Hi Ladies,
I'm a new member of the Farmgirl Society and feeling very pleased to be a part of such an amazing group!
I live in Port Orchard, Washington and have a small hobby farm consisting of goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and anything else that ends up on my doorstep needing a home!
I enjoy gardening but am interested in really making my land be productive.
I enjoy the benefits of living near the many nearby lakes by kayaking and exploring our beautiful countryside. Just today my husband and I went clamming at the nearby Penrose park - what a treat!
I have a son and 3 step-daughters as well.
I also work at our regional library and LOVE to read!
I am eager to join in all the fun of glamping and anything else you all think up!
I'm privileged to make your acquaintance ladies!

Hey Karin- I work for our regional library in Circ and LOVE library work as well! I grew up in NYC so the library has been a part of my life since I can remember! We just got a new Bookmobile named "Violet" and not only is she purple but she's gorgeous! We have rural areas so the bookmobile is just the ticket! After all, who could bear being without something to read? Not me!
Glad to hear from you!

Hello!

I am on the other side of the state from you and also work in a library system. What do you do? I am an outreach supervisor and spend a lot of time driving a 36 foot long bookmobile in northern Idaho. I LOVE library work! I think it's in my blood as my mom is a retired librarian.

Welcome! Karin

To Kris,

I have 3 Dwarf Pygmy goats (2 black/white agoutis, 1 chocolate brown), 1 Nubian (tan & white spots), 1 Oberhasli & 1 Pygora (Pygmy/Angoracross in white). I have not bred my 2 females as triplets run in their family and I don't know what I'd do with 6 more goats! I love my "kids" and they are such a hoot
to watch!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
