Hi my name is Sarah. Im a student in Seattle. I volunteer at a local greenhouse and I like to garden. I also like being out doors hiking, camping, and sailing. Im interested in nutrition and sustainable living, and I am studying to become either a veterinarian, or some sort of doctor. Im currently a vegetarian, and have been for the past four or five years. Im also into sewing, baking, and painting.
There are a lot of things I want to do in my life. Some of my current goals are to get SCUBA certified, learn to crochet, raise chickens, learn to can/make jelly, sail to the San Juan's, grow beautiful roses, and figure out how to cook stinging nettles.
I also seem to remember a few girl scout songs and I enjoy telling funny stories :)
Thats me, and I am very excited to be a member of the forum!

Welcome Sarah! I live just north of you in Skagit County. If you look at my website on my articles page and/or my blog, you'll find information on nettles!
See you around the weedpatch!

Welcome Sarah! You sound like you know what you want to do already. I just figured out what I want to do a few years ago and I am 50. It took a long time to know that I wanted to be a small farmer's market-dairy goat farm girl. I am doing what I love and that's all I need now.

Glad you joined the forum. I look forward to hearing more from you.
