Hello everyone,
I'm a new farmgirl sister (#578). I've been trying to be a farmgirl for years now and through meeting MaryJane in her publications, I realized that I already are one (in spirit, mind, heart, etc.). I may not be plowing fields or milking cows, but I play at almost everything else (thanks to retirement and a great SO who encourages me to be me). I'm looking forward to working on Badges and connecting with others like me in NE Georgia. I crochet a lot and teach crochet when the E.A.G.L.E. program is in session. I've met a lot of people that way. The more I teach the more I learn.
Thanks for listening and group hugs to all!

Hi Judy, welcome!!! I admire anyone who can crochet!! I haven't tried it in years. my hubby can crochet, he tried to teach me. we made an afghan for my Grannie, I made one granny square, he made the rest. LOL. maybe I'll try again now that I'm older and more settled. LOL.

glad to have another nearby farmgirl. I'm not too far away. looking forward to getting to know you. blessings Phyllis

I'd like to know more, too, Rene. I have several things I'd like to submit. I have been to the badge thread and it's very impressive. All these very talented farmgirls we have here!

Oops! I meant to send a reply to prosserfarmgirl, but instead just reposted her message. Anyway, I thought you couldn't grandmother in previous accomplishments? I would love to submit some of my stuff for credit. I have some photos and stories about my classes. I could call them "On the way to meeting MaryJane". Tell me more!

Hey Judy. I am so glad to see someone so close to me!! I just had to look on the map. You are still closer than most. I am in the very corner of GA. TN. & AL. Right below Chatt. So this is so neat. I love to crochet, too. So glad you are here. Just jump right on in.

Hi Judy! So glad your here with us!!! I enjoy crocheting also, and have been working on dishcloths and other things for my Relay For Life team. Using the items for fundraisers. My favorite thing to do is knitting socks. I love handmade socks. Welcome to you friend!
