Posted - May 13 2009 : 7:35:09 PM Hello everyone, My name is Victoria. My husband and I bought our dream farm last year and I've been walking on cloud nine ever since. It is 27 acres with 2 ponds and a beautiful cottage with a touch of city, a wonderful inground pool in the back. We have 11 chickens, 7 ducks (3 females are currently sitting on nest so that number should change soon), 2 rabbits, 1 lazy hound dog, 1 crazy cat and recently added a dozen guineas. I'm looking for a purebred Jersey now. This year we put in a small fruit orchard and berry patch. I've been busy picking black berries this week and should start picking blue berries in a couple of weeks. I am so excited to have found MaryJanes Farm. This fall I'm hoping to get set up for honey bees (thanks to the little idea MJF put in my head). I'm looking forward to sharing the farm experience with everyone.

Posted - May 14 2009 : 5:49:54 PM I promise as soon as I figure out this posting thing I will get some pictures posted. We hosted my son's wedding here in October and have some great pictures. The cottage needs some TLC and that is our project this summer. But it's still my paradise.
