Hello everyone... I'm a born country girl.. I love all that is outdoors and using things that nature has given us. My husband and I bought an 80 acre plot of ground about 7 years ago (mostly woods and stream). Since our purchase, we've felled trees and built a ranch style home. Hubby loves working on the John Deere. We've added a large vegetable garden and many flower beds. Just this spring we've put in a small orchard of apples and peaches and will be adding a few cherries and plums. We also just put in a new herb bed and not just a little plot but about 20 x 20 ft area. We both can and preserve what we grow.

We do all this and I work full time, hubby is partially disabled and has days where he can't get out of bed. We also care for my inlaws in our home. So as you can see we are busy all the time.

The joys in our life are the 2 siamese cats we have. We'd like to have a hound dog someday, but it's not feasible right now with all the wheelchairs and walkers and handicapped people in the home.

If it was up to me I'd have goats and chickens too. Who knows, maybe someday.

I hope this tells you a little about me and my life. I love reading all the posts.

I'm interested in all crafts too... I'm an avid crocheter and quilter and sewer, and I dabble in knitting, papercraft and so much more. We both love to cook, but I'm the baker of the family.

Hope to hear your comments! Have a great day!

Lover of Siamese Cats
