Posted - Jun 04 2009 : 7:40:52 PM I'm a newbie here, just arrived a bit ago. I live in the hollers of Kentucky. In the mornings I sit on my back porch at the top of a beautiful valley and watch the neighbors' horses and cows, various other farm animals, and wildlife welcome the new day. I am a mother of 2 boys, whom I love dearly. I don't own a farm (but I've always dreamed about it). I do have some livestock...hehehe. I have two dogs, two cats, a parakeet, a husband, and a foster cat (it's a long story...). I work at my oldest's son's school as an assistant. What little extra time I have, you'll find me either playing with my boys, fiddling around my flower bed, getting click happy with my camera, writing in my journal, singing at AmVets (American Veterans), or wandering around on a nature trail. Hugs everyone, Chaunzee

From what I hear, Kentucky sure is beautiful country! It sounds so nice where you live. We don't have any livestock either but I truly enjoying watching our neighbor's cows, horses, sheep and goats :) Is AmVets like the VFW or American Legion?
I look forward to your posts.:)
