We have 2 acres and rebuilt an old chicken coop that was on the property we now have 25 hens & recently 4 guinea hens. I got my first issue of MJ and am excited to find this site to learn more about the Farmgirl life. |

Posted - Jun 24 2009 : 07:24:27 AM Hello Wendy.....your place souns great. We are in the process of rebuilding an old chicken coop. Right now the chickens are staying in the tractor shed., which leaves the tractor out in the weather or covered in chicken poop, which ever we prefer at the moment lol. We have three guineas down from six. Something likes to eat them at night. It is good to see you here. Welcome.

Posted - Jun 24 2009 : 07:02:02 AM Wendy, I visited Boone NC last year are you anywhere near there? My mom (she's 81 and still a feisty farmgirl at heart) and I went to visit some of the gem mines. We came home with sackfuls of pretty gems.
